Merging the "Star Daddy" rap persona with the goth-industrial darkness of the VΩIDHEAD era, CANDY MAN is a twisted rollercoaster ride which combined all the sounds Symbol had explored up to this point. It is the first album co-written entirely with longtime guitarist Ryan Lynch. It was recorded during many sessions in both Los Angeles and New York, as Symbol bounced around between both locations throughout 2019.
